Do I need Figure POS to use Make It Butter?
Make It Butter is built by Figure and runs on an iPad provided by Figure — making it a capable standalone system that does not require you to replace your current POS. Online orders are received and managed directly on the iPad. For restaurants that do use Figure POS, Make It Butter integrates seamlessly with it and the Figure Kitchen Display System. Either way, we can walk you through what setup looks like for your specific situation.
Is there really zero commission on orders?
Yes. Make It Butter does not take a percentage of your orders the way DoorDash or UberEats does. You set your own delivery fees, and you keep them. The only processing cost is the standard card transaction fee — the same you pay for in-person orders.
Can customers order from their phone?
Absolutely. Make It Butter is fully responsive and optimized for mobile. Customers can order from any device — phone, tablet, or desktop.
Can I let customers schedule orders in advance?
Yes. You can enable future or scheduled ordering for pickup and delivery separately. Set a lead time, limit how far out customers can schedule, or even accept only future orders if that works better for your operation.
What happens when an order comes in?
Online orders appear directly on your iPad Pro Max, allowing you to review and Accept or Reject each order. Accepted orders are then fired to your printers just like an in-person order, so your kitchen team sees it immediately. Delivery drivers are called at the touch of a button once you accept the order. Orders are typically accepted manually, but can be set to accept automatically with default time parameters if that works better for your operation.
Can I run promotions or discount codes?
Yes. Make It Butter supports promo codes and banner messages to promote active deals. You can also tie in Figure's loyalty and gift card programs to reward returning customers and drive repeat business.
How do I get set up? Do I do it myself?
We handle the setup with you. Our team works directly with you to get your menu built, configure your pickup and delivery settings, and get your ordering site live. We also assist with Google Business Listing integration and have an entire Knowledge Base of articles, along with Video Tutorials to assist.
